Louisiana Waterthrush - Seiurus motacilla
NF Photo 110207 Savegre
From what i can tell this bird behaves much like a dipper.
Strange, according to the book, this bird belongs to the Wood-warblers.
Behaves like a dipper, named Trush and belongs to Wood-warbler? Talk about confusion.

Great photos.
SvaraRaderaGreat sighting of the waterthrush. I usually see them by fast moving streams. Great shots.
SvaraRaderaSince this is a Louisiana Waterthrush, I just had to comment! A very pretty bird with the striped markings on the breast. :)
