Turquoise-browed Motmot - Eumomota superciliosa
NF Photo 110204 in Costa Rica
The first bird in my Costa Rican birdblog with birds from the trip I made. I have no idea how many I have. But maybe 175. The group as a whole saw and heard 492 spieces in 16 days of birding. If correctly counted by the Swedish guide.
This bird looked a bit different in sunshine and shadow. The photos are mine and I link to sites that show the bird better and tell a little about it as I can´t claim to be an expert. :) I hope this will be useful to somebody apart from me.
Sounds like a productive birding expedition! Lovely shots of the Motmot!
SvaraRaderaYou will have fun sorting the images from your trip...I have a similar experience coming up..., cant wait :)
SvaraRaderaEn liten konstnärlig färgpalett. Kul med båda varianterna. Ska du visa bilderna i ´kronologisk´ ordning? *ler

Cool cool! We saw Blue-crowned Motmots in CR when we were there but I haven't seen this species before. They look pretty similar. Great shots! He looks great in flight!
