Great shot. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
SvaraRaderaI love watching woodpeckers when they come about around me. They're curious birds and always fascinating to view their special skills of survival. Well done. [is that moss on the tree?]
SvaraRaderaYour linking of your special photos of birds is always appreciated, as you know.

I really like this shot with the scruffy tree included. I enjoy watching woodpeckers. We have a Hairy Woodpecker who stops by to visit our suet blocks.
