Louisiana Waterthrush - Seiurus motacilla

From what i can tell this bird behaves much like a dipper.
Strange, according to the book, this bird belongs to the Wood-warblers.
Behaves like a dipper, named Trush and belongs to Wood-warbler? Talk about confusion.

  1. Great shots!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

  2. Great sighting of the waterthrush. I usually see them by fast moving streams. Great shots.

  3. Since this is a Louisiana Waterthrush, I just had to comment! A very pretty bird with the striped markings on the breast. :)

I love comments so please write something. I usually responds to everyone on their own blogs. But nowadays I often find it impossible to comment on many blogs or on Google+. Often the word verifications is unreadable. And after three times I give up. Other times the systems seems to think I am a spammer. Lots of bloggers loose comments that way. :( So, if you don´t see me comment on your blog that is the reason.
